WELCOME

We are happy to invite you to Marseilles for the 11th international hydrogenase conference. We hope that you will have a wonderful scientific experience and as well take advantage of the natural attractions of the Provence area.

The conference will cover all fronts of hydrogenase research, but we have modified the typical conference scope to also include the research on CO2 reduction. Various sessions will focus on the biochemistry, physiology, genetics, maturation, mechanism, active sites, evolution and applications of the enzymes involved in H2 oxidation and production and CO2 reduction.

The conference will begin on Sunday evening the 10th of July, with the welcome party and an opening lecture given by Michael W.W. Adams, and end on Thursday the 14th of July, late afternoon. The banquet will take place on Wednesday evening. We suggest that you enjoy the celebrations of the Bastille Day (the French National Day) on the evening of the 14th before flying back home.

We thank those who have accepted to join the international scientific committee, to help us build a very exciting scientific program. The list of opening, plenary and keynote lectures is here. Many slots will be available for invited and selected talks, so do not forget to submit your abstract before May the 20th.

Registration is now open. We advise that you book your accommodation as soon as possible. A list of hotels and student accommodations can be found here.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Marseilles,

The local organising committee
